***update: I found a 4th way to use the Rope Lamp at Housing Works Design on a Dime Benefit! See end of post***
HomeGoods gave me a fun challenge.
Find a unique item at HomeGoods for under $100 that can inspire a room design.
Oooooh, such fun.
I grabbed a good friend and we went shopping. So much to choose from, but I finally settled on a pair of table lamps that caught my eye and my imagination.
The thrill of the hunt! These babies were only $50 each!
I played around with them in my own home, and my first instinct was to use them in my daughter’s “ Romantic Country” bedroom (don’t mind the perpetually photo-bombing pooch).
But they also had a coastal/nautical vibe. So I tried them in a guest room.
Imagine my surprise when I saw how HomeGoods’ stylists used them. #pow
How would you use this lamp?
Is there anything in your home you could be using differently?
Hot off the press – the Arden vignette at the Housing Works Design on a Dime Benefit used these lamps in yet another way. Beautiful!

I think they were made by Arden. But you might be able to make something similar yourself – check Pinterest and HomeTalk for some ideas!
Do you know which brand/company actually makes the lamps? I’ve scoured every HomeGoods within 100 miles of my house, and I can’t find them anywhere! 🙁 Hoping maybe I can find a manufacturer to contact…
Love the lamp Susan and how versatile it can be in many room settings. HomeGoods comes through again.
