Just when I think I’m done with my annual Halloween post, I find another idea to try!
This Halloween treat is ridiculously easy. But I seriously need help coming up with a good name for them – they remind me of traffic cones stuck in mud. They’re essentially a variation of “dots” – round pretzels with melted Hershey Kisses and M&Ms. Just for fun, I decided to make them with candy corn. And since I couldn’t find the round pretzels, I opted for the waffle/grid shaped ones.
How To
Easy to make – just pick up some pretzels, Hershey Kisses and candy corn.
Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Place pretzels on a cookie sheet and plop a kiss on top.
Bake for 3-3.5 minutes til melted a bit. Top with candy corn, then let it cool in the fridge or a cool garage if short on space.
Seriously, the two hardest parts are:
- Unwrapping the Hershey Kisses
- Trying not to eat too many Kisses whilst baking.
But what to call them? Here are a few ideas I’m mulling about:
- Traffic Cone Candy
- Boo Bark
- Corny Kiss
- And one that I cannot include here 😉
