Who doesn’t love a happy ending to a good pallet story!? Here’s how we turned this old pallet into a rustic pallet wine rack.
Every year we get pellets delivered for our pellet stove. They arrive on pallets. What we don’t use for projects that my wife dreams up, we use for kindling in our firepit.
This years’ project was to make a rustic wine rack. We started by cutting off a section of the pallet just above the second rib.
Next we used a nail puller to remove one of the other ribs from the remaining pallet. this I used as a bottom for the rack.
Using a few 2″ nails we secured the bottom to the rack frame.
And there you have it. A DIY rack suitable for storing just about anything: wine, aerosol paint cans, cooking supplies, etc.
