Design on a Dime Benefit Event

housing works design on a dime event

Tomorrow night, Housing Works will present New York City’s most popular interior design benefit event at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea.

Design on a Dime Benefit

The event will feature over 50 of the world’s top interior designers. They create unforgettable room vignettes with new merchandise, which is donated and then sold for 50 to 70 percent off retail pricing (pinch me, I must be dreaming)!

This years’ the Co-Chairs are AMAZING!

I will be (happily) attending on behalf of the “Your Home, Only Better” readers to note trends from the top designers, and maybe do a little shopping (should I?!?!). Here are some competitive shopping tips shared from last year’s event.

I am very excited that Kelly Plunkett of 2nd Chance Restoration will be my co-editor for this event!

Keep an eye on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter where I’ll share eye-candy live as I work the crowd and have the time of my life! Watch for hashtag #DOAD

About HousingWorks.org

Since our founding in 1990, Housing Works has engaged in an array of advocacy strategies to further our mission of ending the twin crises of AIDS and homelessness: traditional government lobbying; regular legislative visits in Albany by HIV-positive clients; civil disobedience and street protests; and impact litigation. This inside-plus-outside pressure on elected officials has made Housing Works a force to be reckoned with on the local, state, national and international levels. Housing Works maintains advocacy offices in New York City, Albany, Washington, D.C., and Port-au- Prince, Haiti.
