Nothing screams Halloween like Martha Stewart, the Queen of Halloween, and creepy crafts. I was invited to a Halloween Bash at Martha’s studio to check out the new Cricut machines now available at Michaels. So of course, I brought Crafty Kelly along as my craft correspondent! (If you haven’t met her yet, she’s the proprietor behind 2nd Chance Restoration here in CT. AND, my go to girl for shenanigans in NYC.
To be honest, I had never even seen a Cricut machine before. And now that I have? Wow. Unlimited possibilities. Kelly was almost shaking in anticipation as we entered the demonstration room filled with Cricuts at every table, and Martha ready to show us first-hand how to use them.
But before we entered this room, I was swooning over the Halloween decor ideas she had laid out in the adjoining party room. I apologize for the quality of these images – I was just using my iPhone and my adrenaline was through the roof!
Ok, back to Cricut…Martha and her team had T-shirts ready for us to make.
Crafty Kelly was all over this. She’s a pro. Not only did she make her shirt, help me with mine, but she was helping other bloggers as well.
Such a fun evening, and I love learning new things! Now I’m truly motivated to bring up my creepy decor from storage and spoke up my home!
