Your home is where you can relax, be yourself, and cut loose. Do you really want your home to look like a showroom where you feel like you have to hold your stomach in? Keep your room as your room, but with simple, inexpensive tweaks, make it the place you most want to be!
I own a home staging and interior redesign business in central Connecticut, called Rooms That Work. It’s no coincidence that my “tag” line for that business is “Your home, only better.”
I’ve been blogging for awhile for the HomeGoods Openhouse Blog, any my own blogs for home staging and interior decorating. The reason I started this blog is to provide a central philosophical point for this basic premise…keeping it YOUR home, but making it BETTER for YOU! I’ve brought over my posts from my other blogs so I can have everything in one convenient place for you.
I am also in the process of developing on online community for home enthusiasts. It will be a place where home-lovers and professionals who help them can get together and talk about ideas in a room-by-room forum format. Oh yea, and the “tag” for that one will be “Get Inspired. Get it Done.”
Still working on the site…hope to launch that Q1 2009. Interested in being part of the beta team? Click here to read the development blog and sign up for beta testing!
That’s all for now…please check back often, or better yet, subscribe so you don’t miss out on anything!
Have a great day!
