It’s September in Connecticut, and I’m confused as can be about whether to wear a parka or a tank top. It’s 50-60 degrees when I wake up, but makes it up to 70 or so by mid-day. The kids are confused too as our closets are packed with two-season’s worth of clothes.
Why do I mention this? Because as homes are being prepared for market, it’s important to acknowledge the upcoming season, but no need to go overboard. Again, the key is neutralize with style! So go ahead and strategically place some mums and/or a pumpkin, but please…forego the haystacks and ghoulish displays if your house is on the market!
