Jane – well said! I hear ya about the umbrellas, etc. Got drenched dropping kid #1 at camp today. Oh the insanity!

Summer means hot days and long lazy evenings spent outdoors with friends and a bottle of chilled rose; visits to the clam shack for fresh seafood and homemade gelato; running carelessly into the surf and spending hot afternoons lying under shady trees in the park with a novel.
(Well, most summers, that is. This summer means umbrellas and wellington boots and moss everyhere…)
